Another scenic rapid with sheer walls rising from the water on the right bank, Junkyard Rapid is the last of the major rapids at the tip of Koontz Bend. There are lines down both the left and right sides of the rapid. The right line begins through a narrow slot, then finishes with nice waves. The left line is quicker, but beware of the flat undercut on the left bank.
